Vaghe stelle is a seven-chaptered film, conceived as a musical album and composed of seven movements, which can be watched singly (like songs), or in the established order (like a record) or also mixing the films creating new combinations or possible narrations. The “songs” are seven as the principal stars of the Ursa Major. It will be a nocturnal wandering with the starry sky as a reference: an earthly pilgrimage looking for epiphanies or the drift of a hypothetical interstellar trip.

The second walk.

It all started with a flea market and "Les rêveries du promeneur solitaire". A night storm and the cat Vadinho did the rest, leading me on the first walk.

There are various kinds of vacations: the summer ones with their lazy sunny afternoons at the end of August. The winter holidays spent waiting for summer; or those filtered through the eyes of child, the ones where we can find something of ourselves, in the steps and in the gazes. But holidays are also the vacuum left by a mother and a father, and an attempt to fill this void with images.

A short, but white is the screen: and in the screen the shapes are formed by deforming themselves.

A school bus stops in the street. Behind the steamed up windows, among the children who are watching the rain, Giacomo surprises me with a look I know well, that of the photos of my childhood. In the distance separating us, the rain hides the tears and the smile, clouds faces. Past, present and future suddenly mingle. Time dilates, stretches like an elastic band linking us, that brings us closer and sends us further from each other.

Behind a dark window, the childhood home, time is rediscovered. A woman runs into the sunny air ... it is a blast, a color, a reflection of water ... By the sea, one encounters people and things lost.
