Between the city and the countryside and the modern world versus the old, a girl is at her happiest when she is in nature. Her parents are divorced, and in a modern world there is a need for money. This means a trip to the big city on the back of her mother’s scooter. "Hide And Seek" casts a group of young newcomers into an abandoned school campus where they meet longtime janitor Mr. Chan who takes shelter at the school. Playing hide-and-seek after midnight, the teenagers go missing, one after another. In his self-directed piece "Black Umbrella," Teddy Robin makes solving conflicts on the street at night his mission and marks each closed case with his signature black umbrella. Before he calls it a day, he meets a prostitute who forcefully pulls him upstairs for business and unfortunately things spiral out of control.

Lam Luk (Cho-lam Wong), Jit Sau (Johnson Lee), Fook Cheung (Louis Yuen) are three unemployed friends who come together to help Lam Luk get married. After Lam Luk proposed to his girlfriend (Fiona Sit), his future father-in-law (Eric Tsang) stipulated that he will allow the marriage only if Lam Luk can come up with $500,000 for the downpayment of their future apartment. The three friends must now do everything they can to come up with the money ….

Laughing (MICHAEL TSE) is formally a police undercover. However due to a drug trafficking case, Inspector Pan (FELIX WONG) is hot on his trails. Before Laughing becomes a police undercover, he works under triad leader Yi (ANTHONY WONG). Yi treats Laughing as his own brother, however to protect his territory and illegal businesses, Yi instructed Laughing to join the police force and act as his undercover. Laughing is a high-flyer in the police academy. However he never got a chance to join the force because he is specially picked by Inspector Xian (YUEN BIAO) to be an undercover in the underworld syndicate. Hence Laughing becomes a “double-undercover”. Yi is happy that Laughing is allocated to the triad of his rival (FRANCIS NG). To make his situation worse, Laughing falls in love with the triad leader’s sister, Karen. Justice, brotherhood and love, what will Laughing decide on?
