Stockholm My Love is a city symphony, a love letter to Stockholm, the fiction debut of director Mark Cousins and the acting debut of musician Neneh Cherry. It follows one woman's footsteps through the streets of her native city, on a journey of recovery from a bad thing that happened to her exactly one year before. The Righteous Babes shows how the self-affirmative music of young women is renewing the 90's feminism. In the film, audience can experience feminism not in the library but in the rock concert hall. The film shows interviews and performances. In addition, controversial feminists along with American and British women journalists share their views on pop culture.

This music special is dedicated to dispelling the prejudices associated with the HIV infection and raising money for AIDS research and relief. Some of today's most celebrated recording artists performing their interpretations of the classic songs of Cole Porter.

Moki and Don Cherry met in the mid-1960s and soon began collaborating closely. They made happenings, music, art, posters and record sleeves, they performed together, organised workshops and toured. The film merges the different worlds they lived in – countryside and city life, and the various disciplines that were interwoven in their artistic practices. Some scenes also feature Eagle-Eye Cherry as a little boy and Neneh Cherry in her teens. Other musicians from that time include Collin Walcott, Rashied Ali, James Blood Ulmer and Naná Vasconcelos. Urban Lasson also appears in the film.
