At a swanky hotel in a Black Sea resort, Gogu, one of the hotel employees, meets his uncle Marin, an Oltenian peasant who has come to visit. Gogu says he can sneak Marin into the hotel, as one of the rooms is empty awaiting the arrival of an American billionaire, Mr. Juvett. Marin is amazed by the revealing clothing worn by women at the resort, while the hotel guests are fascinated by his quaint peasant costume. In the hotel room, Marin is perplexed by the various gadgets. Meanwhile, the gangsters learn that Juvett has arrived at the hotel. Juvett is the father of the kidnapped girl, and is coming to pass over a million dollar ransom. A rival gang, who know about the kidnapping, plan to take the ransom for themselves. They follow Marin, believing him to be Juvett.

After you see this movie you can't help loving all the characters.

В Министерстве госбезопасности Румынии стало известно, что иностранная разведка охотится за планами голубых рудников, где добывается стратегическое сырьё. Выполнением этого задания занимается банда под руководством шпиона по кличке Морской кот.

В основу фильма положены подлинные события. В румынском городе Лупени 5 августа 1929 года доведённые до отчаяния каторжными условиями труда шахтёры под руководством коммунистов организовали забастовку. Шахтёры требовали повышения заработной платы, установления восьмичасового рабочего дня. Они выступали против попыток правительства переложить всю тяжесть экономического кризиса на плечи рабочих. Правительство, обеспокоенное масштабом забастовки и решительностью рабочих не уступать в своих требованиях, отдало приказ войскам стрелять по безоружным людям. 7 августа забастовка была жестоко подавлена. Было убито много рабочих. Но эти события навсегда вошли в историю румынского рабочего движения как пример солидарности, героизма и непобедимости народа.

Деревенский парень Фэницэ четыре года не был в родной деревне, занимаясь в городе «свободной коммерцией». Теперь, вернувшись домой, он хочет продолжать свое занятие, хотя с первых же шагов его поиски легкого заработка были осмеяны всеми честными тружениками села. Действие происходит в некоем промышленном государстве. Атомная бомба устрашающей силы, украденная гансгстерами у монополистов, мечтавших с ее помощью покорить народы других стран, случайно попадает в руки к простому, незаметному человеку, который и не подозревает о ее разрушающей силе. Ни монополистам, ни гангстерам никак не удается заполучить бомбу в свои руки. Узнав, наконец, что за "штука" попала к нему в руки, человек разламывает ее на мелкие кусочки, которые подкладывает под подошвы пешеходов, и те начинают двигаться чуть ли не с космической скоростью.

Его уже не могут обмануть хитрости и уловки врагов, он справедливо делит помещичью землю между крестьянами, которые отныне стали его полновластными хозяевами.

По одноименному очерку И.Караджале. Григорашку, директор префектуры уездного городка, избил представителя противоположной политической партии - Гудурэу, который постоянно его провоцировал. Тот начал жаловаться в министерство, и телеграммы нескончаемым потоком неслись в столицу и обратно. Весь кабинет министров был втянут в политическую интригу. Назрел правительственный кризис. В это время в уездном городке умер государственный адвокат. Григорашку добился назначения на его место Гудурэу, недавние враги помирились и правительственный кризис миновал.

Короткометражный фильм, адаптация для кино сказки Михая Эминеску. Фильм не был выпущен в прокат в социалистической Румынии, будучи обвинённым в «мистицизме». Он был показан в кинотеатрах только в 1990-е годы.
