Hsiao-pei carries on her family’s fortune telling tradition, almost exclusively giving young women love advice. She also runs her college’s tarot club through which she meets the playfully cocky Chiung-nan, who uses the cards to ask her out. A rocky romance ensues, replete with a clumsy seduction, an unexpected fire and both figurative and literal ball busting.

In Taipei, a rehearsal for Kafka’s Metamorphosis is in full swing as the show’s opening night approaches. Lin’s girlfriend, Julie, is visiting him from Paris. After the rehearsal, he picks her up at the airport and they spend the night together. In the morning, Lin is nowhere to be found and leaves Julie waiting at his apartment

A very dynamic young lady, Lin, has a thing for Japanese culture while living in Taiwan. Following the 2011 Tohoku earthquake, Lin got a Facebook message from a Japanese guy, Mogi who has been curious about the Japan-friendly country since then. The two start to interact through Facebook. During the golden week holiday, they finally met in person in Taiwan. Time passes quickly when they're together. After their first date, things seemed to move forward at the speed of light. They spent more time talking about their hopes, dreams, fears and finally came to a decision together to try and make things work, despite the circumstances.

Soon after a young police officer reports for duty, he is confronted with the unspoken rules. There are people who cannot be questioned and cases that cannot be further investigated. Although he has been sidelined, he refuses to give up the old case. However, having spent so much time and effort, will he find out the truth or some long forgotten conscience?
