Chitra Shaji Kailas, popularly known as Annie is an Indian film actress. In her career span that lasted for just three years, with sixteen films, Annie was one among the successful lead actresses in Malayalam cinema during the mid-1990s.
Her debut role was in Balachandra Menon's Ammayane Sathyam (1993). Her well known films include Mazhayethum Munpe (1995), Parvathy Parinayam (1995), Tom & Jerry (1995), Puthukkottayile Puthumanavalan (1995), and Swapna Lokathe Balabhaskaran (1996). She gave up acting after getting married to director Shaji Kailas, and is now settled in Thiruvananthapuram. She won Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Malayalam for her role in Mazhayethum Munpe.

Nandini Thampi
Mahadevan Thampi (Sreenivasan), owner of the Sankaramangalam Hospital, gets cheated by his uncle Madhavan Thampi (Rajan P. Dev) into transferring the ownership of the hospital to Madhavan's London-educated daughter Nandini (Annie), by enticing Mahadevan with the false promise of giving Nandini's hand in marriage to him. However, Madhavan had his own slimy plans of getting Nandini married to Rajagopal (Mukesh), the new doctor in the hospital, but who in reality was a quack out to make some cash.
Meenakshi
Kuttikrishnan (Jagadish), the illicit son of businessman Ananthan Nambiar, comes to Kochi to meet his dad, but a mix-up leaves him on the streets & another young man, Balagopalan (Mukesh), in his place as Nambiar's son. To expose Balagopalan, Kuttikrishnan teams up with cutpurse Mukundan (Jagathi) & car-thief Meenakshi (Annie), both of whom ensconce themselves in Nambiar's house as Kuttikrishnan's relatives. Meanwhile, Nambiar's manager Krishnadas was plotting to usurp Nambiar's assets.
Chandrika
Balabhaskaran (Jayaram) suffers from sleepwalking. He walks long distances in the night and many mishaps happen during this. He is cheated by his friend Johnie (Madhupal) who wants to extort some money from Balabaskar by blackmailing him. Balabasker's father marries him off to Chandrika in the hope that this will help him to get over his sleepwalking.
Nandagopan, a villager, wishes to marry a traditional girl. But complications arise when his uncle wants him to marry his daughter, Radhika, who leads a modern life.
Chandini Varma

The movie sketches through the life of an Army Man enriched with so many emotional sequences. Brigadier Rajashekharan Nambiar is a strict and tough officer in Indian Army. Meenu
Ananthakrishnan (Suresh Gopi) is a budding journalist with a Kerala based newspaper. He does a story on the famous dancer Gayathri Devi (Madhavi) which brings him accolades. After a while, Anathakrishnan meets Gayathri Devi by coincidence in a hotel and she tells him about some striking scandals regarding the powerful state home minister Valappad Balakrishnan (NF Varghese). Gayathri Devi is suddenly killed under suspicious circumstances and Ananthapkrishnan is swept into her dangerous world.

Story revolves around two energetic men who lives in a city with their unsuccessful Kadhaprasangam troupe (story telling performance).
Parvathy
Subhadramma is a gutsy woman who raises her two daughters single-handedly after her husband Narayankutty deserts her. Shivankutty, her neighbor is a linesman who is in love with her daughter Parvathy. After the initial resistance, Subhadramma agrees to their marriage. However, things change when Narayankutty returns.
Nirmala / Sivakami
Kalyana Krishnan (Mukesh) is part of an orthodox Brahmin family who still follow the caste system. He ends up marrying Nirmala (Annie), a Christian girl. To get the family's approval for the marriage, Nirmala masquerades as a Brahmin orphan. The film continues with the tricks & travails that they have to face owing to this.

Nandakumar is a college professor who wants to get the best treatment for his paralyzed fiancee, Uma Maheshwari. Trouble starts brewing when Shruthi, Nandakumar's student falls in love with him. Will Shruti let Uma unite with Nandakumar weaves the rest of the story.

Parvathi / Thomas / Ramkumar Chengammanad
Fifteen-year-old Parvathi (Annie) witnesses her family getting murdered and runs away from them to save her life. To prevent getting caught, she disguises herself as a boy named Thomas and starts living as a servant in a house of bachelors. One of the bachelors, Omanakuttan (Mukesh) discovers that Thomas is actually a girl. After hearing her story, Omanakkuttan and his friends try to help her. Before Jaganatha Varma could kill her, Policeman S. Narayanan (Balachandra Menon) discovers his plan and saves Parvathi.
