Story
Wealthy Dr. Shivnath decides to adopt an injured orphan named Rajkumar, who has been separated from his sister, Munni, much to the chagrin of his wife, Janki, who resents him and reserves her love for her two biological children, Premnath and Sudha. Years later all the children have grown up, and Dr. Shivnath may have nothing but regret in adopting Rajkumar - who is not only living a dual life; getting into arguments and fisticuffs with Premnath; but may also soon be arrested by Inspector Chauhan for marketing and distributing fake currency.

In a village which is located in a beautiful hilly area full of greenery and water bodies, there lives a villager called Gopi (N. T. Rama Rao) along with his sister Janaki (Vijaya Lalitha) by rearing goats. He leads a happy life by singing and playing the flute. Once Radha (Vanisri) a famous stage artist & singer comes to his village on break. There, she becomes interested towards Gopi by listening to his flute & music. They spend time together and Radha gradually becomes fascinated by him. Before she starts back, Gopi finally proposes to her and she gladly accepts.

The film begins with Inspector Prasad ( Mikkiilineni ) sentencing deadly gangsters of a dangerous gang, and their chief Ganapathi / Gun ( Rajanala ) wants to take revenge against him, so, he kills him and also kidnaps one of his twin sons, Ram Prasad. Ram grows up in between them by the name of Paul (N. T. Rama Rao) and becomes a daredevil gangster. Once, in a robbery, Paul was caught by police. Inspector Sekhar (Prabhakar Reddy) hides him secretly and tries to reveal the truth, out to which he refuses, even after a lot of torture. Shaam Prasad (again N. T. Rama Rao), the younger one, brought up by his mother ( Sriranjani Jr. ), is a club singer who loves Geetha (K. R. Vijaya), daughter of Rao Saheb (Relangi). After Sisupala completes his 100 sins, he defeats and kills him, thus regaining his entry back to Vishnu's abode. Kuchela's episode is followed by Draupadi's humiliation where Krishna saves her honour. The great war of Kurukshetra takes place after the negotiations (Rayabharam) between the cousins fails. Krishna's Geetopadesam to Arjuna is also shown. Finally he saves Bheema from Dhritarashtra's ire after Bheema kills Duryodhana. Balarama wades deep into the ocean after the gory war, while Lord Krishna ends his Avataram owing to a hunter's mistake.
