Русалочка, одна из дочерей морского царя, увидев принца на палубе роскошного корабля, влюбляется в него. Но во время бури корабль разбивается о скалу, и все его пассажиры оказываются в воде. Русалочка, не раздумывая ни минуты, бросается на помощь и спасает своего возлюбленного от гибели. На берегу лежащего без сознания принца находит другая девушка. Придя в себя, он решает, что эта девушка и есть его спасительница. Но любовь Русалочки к прекрасному принцу так сильна, что ради нее она готова пойти на любые жертвы — боль, немоту и даже смерть…

На дворе осень 1950 года, и небольшое подразделение пограничной армии ожидает подкрепления, но прибыл только младший капрал Марыска, учительница латыни и греческого языка в гражданской жизни. Население приграничного поселка малочисленно. Торговец лошадьми Перманец убеждает управляющего конезаводом Джезберу, что командир пограничной охраны собирается написать отчет о его работе для дирекции. Внезапная смерть хозяина паба мешает запланированной танцевальной вечеринке с девушками с фарфорового завода. Симпатичная племянница Джезберы Тереза сбивает рядового Пучмельтра с ног, но его ночной визит в дом девушки прерывается пулеметным огнем на немецкой стороне границы. Новый домовладелец Себек начинает помогать иностранным секретным агентам.

The film captures the new events in the lives of the main characters of the film "The Copper Tower". After two years spent in prison because of smuggling they return to the Stratená dolina valley and plan a revenge on police lieutenant Pardek.

Two days before Christmas. Zuzanka and Tomás, friends from a kindergarten wander off during a walk. They admire toys and decoration in shop-windows. Zuzanka shall receive a sledge as a Christmas present and Tomás even a desired little brother. At a shooting gallery Tomás aims at a target on the trunk of a blue elephant which can call in Christmas. The impatient Zuzanka pushes to her friend and he shoots directly to the elephant's red eye. Things which the owner of the shooting gallery warned about happened: the sun popped on the sky, the snow melted and all Christmas shopping has stopped. Both pushful children decide to get a new eye for the elephant so that everything can be set right.

A tragic story of two young people who are in the precious moments of first emotional flare deeply disappointed by the shallow feelings of their parents as well as their relatives and friends.

A verger, who likes to dress as a priest, is invited, by one of the villagers, to be the pastor at a vacant church. The atheist teacher resents the pastor, and tries to embarrass him in various ways, including being caught with the local girl, Majka.

Five Girls Around the Neck, in 1967, set out to explore that critical age of adolescence when a person's character is formed for good or evil. Schorm examined a girl's problems of being giving too much. She tries to buy the goodwill of her less fortunate friends; her intentions are pure, but in the difficulty of communicating she learns envy and deceit, and must decide if she will submit to double dealing or steel her life against self-deception and mediocrity. In addition to the relationship between the girl and her friends, Schorm introduces a teenage romance and the broader relationship between the girl's parents - neatly tied together with segments of Weber's opera "Der Freischütz". He reveals himself as a skilled psychological director with a wide range of knowledge about people.

It is the summer holiday and little Mísa Horák has taken a few animals from the school's so-called "Corner of Living Nature" home to care for. But when he brings home two Angora rabbits, a starling, a little monkey, a tortoise and a small crocodile, his parents order him to take them away. He is helped by Káta, who offers to place the animals in the child's room of her family's apartment. Mísa leaves for her friend where the animals will hopefully be able to stay. Káta goes shopping. In the meantime, Káta's younger sister Minka wakes up and begins to play with the animals, who gradually run off in disarray.

Jitka is a 12-year-old girl who feels the first stirring of love. She becomes friends with a young man who is hospitalized with paralysis. Jitka visits the man every day and witnesses his slow recovery, but she is unaware that she could have deeper feelings for him.

В заснеженной зимней Праге встречаются два африканских студента. Он, Омар, только что проводил возвращающегося на родину земляка; она, Марьяма, сошла с трапа самолёта, чтобы поступить в медицинский институт в незнакомой стране.
