Azlan a choreographer trains his wife, Maya to become a singer and dancer. Maya admires Borhan, a singer. Borhan visits Terengganu and meets Maya. He convinces Maya that Kuala Lumpur is the place to go if one wants to be a singer. Even though their child is sick, Azlan allows Maya to follow Borhan to Kuala Lumpur. Maya is deceived by Borhan who forces her into prostitution . Azlan suffers from emotional stress as he is considered a coward. The child misses the mother badly and falls ill. This film exposes the weaknesses found in the high-society consisting of the minister, architects and lawyers. Each has different tastes and desires. As an influential person, the minister used his position to compromise the weak girl. The young lawyer was questioning the good name and status after the girl was betrothed with a tarnished. The young architect ignore Malay art elements. The film also presents a question of love in a family.

Successful police officer ASP Zamri fails to build a happy home. His only child succumbs to leukimia and his life falls apart. Set during the Sultan Era. Megat Terawis and Megat Sari are the two sons of Paduka Haji, a commoner, who's wife, Princess Kamariah is the younger sister of the Sultan of the country.
