To that end, they are appointing Anna as the newspaper's new director. Anna is a young journalist, full of enthusiasm, but inexperienced. She believes that the dirty and criminal games in the country are not the most important for a newspaper. In that sense, it's changing the newspaper's editorial policy - it no longer writes about the underworld. The circulation of the newspaper is declining day by day. Faced with the drop in circulation, she is in a dilemma, whether to continue to cover up the dirty things around her or to start publishing them, that is, to expose them…

A tragicomedy on displaced people in the post-Communist era. Its protagonist are mostly oldtimers from the circus world and the variety stage. When the circus burns down and the "last performance" ends in tragedy, the fault for the loss is laid upon corrupt officials and smalltime gangsters. Veteran screen star Meri Boshkova - who played the title role in the first Macedonian feature film made, Frosina (1952) - can be seen in the role of Mimi, a woman at the dumpyard who lives with her dreams.

Adaptation of a TV Series with 3 episodes, "Third Age", filmed in 1986. This is a movie that shows how the old people live in a city (Skopje), film about love in the "third age", with a knit of humor and lyrically transposed characters.

The film takes place in Skopje in the summer of 1963, just before the catastrophic earthquake.

Through fragments of the life of Boris and his son Matej, the film is about the conflict of generations, the gap created by the ideological coloration that one has and the other does not have. Political prisoner Boris, after spending several years in prison, returns home. After the divorce with his wife, in his apartment now live his son Matej, a grown man who is trying to earn his living as a musician, his girlfriend Mira and a hitchhiker that Matej found on the road.

The story takes place in March of 1943 during transportations of Jews from Skopje. Nikola is a surgeon who was taken his working license away, and spends evening hours at the local bar where German officers, along with Bulgarian officer Simeonov, play Russian roulette with their gun pointed at prisoner's head. After suicide of one German mayor, Nikola and the prisoner escape.

Brothers and their sister come to their native village on their deceased father's burial. Each of them has own plan of taking particular area of property, but in the will their father left behind it is stated they can use the lot only together. They leave the village in disappointment.

The story of a mine and the men who work it, particularly one miner, who has problems both at work and at home.

The story takes place in Ohrid, at the end of XI century. Slavic population gives resistance to Byzantium and the Christian dogma leads to the persecutions and murders. The villages are plagued with outbreak of smallpox, and all the people with the symptoms were thrown into the lime. The film follows the fate of Abraham's family as the story of survival in the Balkan intersections.

After death of his wife, Stojan is proclaimed by his fellow villagers to be a living saint. They thought God will have mercy upon them, and life in their village would become better and happier. Stojan liked this at start, he got used of his nickname and listening to people's problems and sins. However, he gets fed up of this burden that is not easy to get rid of.

The inhabitants of a small village in a backward area of Macedonia earn their living by sending their men abroad in search of employment. Three young girls, named Elica, Maria and Nikolina live and work as schoolteachers in the village. Each of them try to make sense of their lives, in that situation where it is imposed on them. In the village the greatest problem is the supply of water. Spring water is carried by Marko from the distant mountains Marko is falls in love with the poor girl Kate...

The film takes place in a small town where the Germans are getting ready to retreat near the end of the war. But a carload of Russian prisoners get people to feed them, then the prisoners overcome their guards and escape. The town people try to save them from the Germans but do not succeed.

Drama of the life of a young man of today torn between his desires and the opportunities of his environment.

After the liberation in 1946, in a village in western Macedonia implemented collectivization farms. The President of the rural cooperative Stamat, former fighter, who with all their revolutionary zeal and enthusiasm believes collectivization only way for poor farmers. In doing so, he faces resistance from wealthy farmers who can hardly be separated from the property. In contrast, Stamat faced with the decision of the Committee, the mountain that provides a livelihood and that villagers consider her to be assigned to the Wood Industry. His attempt to change this decision, there is no success. He feels that his revolutionary ideal betrayed. In these circumstances Stamat faced with the fact that the villagers do not trust him, but nevertheless he stands on the right side.

In 1918, after the end of the Balkan Wars and the First World War, hundreds of Macedonians immigrated to Bulgaria. Among them there were pro-Bulgarian Macedonians who wanted to exploit the emigrants for their own political purposes. A number of decent freedom fighters were eliminated. The victim of one of the assassins in Sofia was Djorche Petrov. His assassin is a young boy who doesn't even know that he is shooting dead the man who is one of the last real fighters for the freedom of Macedonia. By discovering that he has been unknowingly involved in the pro-Bulgarian organization and has been used for an execution of this vile act, it means the death sentence for the young boy.

The unexpected death of the insignificant and modest official Krste Krstevski, a tenant and unmarried man all his life, surprises his colleagues and acquaintances. Only then is he able to avenge their petty plots, and it can even be said that his real life begins after his death.

Shortly after World War II, the government sent a crew of drivers with large tractors to clear-cut and plow a vast, barren piece of land called "Krst Rakoc" in the hills of Kosovo and Metohia, for future orchards. They encounter deprecation and revolt from indigenous Albanian population who do not believe in good intentions of the government and the crew.

Young scientist Zare and his wife, a theater costume designer Mira, live in a rented apartment where they were under the pressure of curious and disturbing neighbors. Once Zare was given the keys of the Ethnographic Museum in Ohrid in order to sort out the situation in this museum, this means escape for the family.

Simon is a young man who has decided to make quick money by smuggling narcotics. At a meeting with his contact they are ambushed by the police. Simon runs away but loses his wallet and so supposes that his identity must now be known to the police. Kalpak, the unscrupulous man who organizes this group of smugglers insists that he and Simon to leave at once. Simon agrees to cross the border illegally. Simon's girl-friend Lena and his brother Cvetko are involved in this operation by chance. They all leave together. Lena tries to persuade Simon to give himself up to the authorities, but the arguments of Kalpak, who uses the lost wallet as a threat, are stronger. In the attempt to cross the lake in a stolen boat they are chased by the police. Kalpak gets killed, Simon is wounded and the girl Lena drops the narcotics into the lake.

The first Macedonian Movie from 1952- Frosina is one of the many Macedonian wives whose husbands are economic emigrants abroad. Marriage does not bring them a family, only the burden of life itself. After her husband's short visits, she gives birth to children who do not live long because of the poverty into which they have been born. She gives birth to them alone, and she buries them alone.
