Waiting for the train to Athens, in a provincial train station, two old gentlemen are interested in a young student who is trying to read her book.

This is a series of intersecting stories. A petty crook and former lover of a lazy ingénue steals the box-office receipts from the Odeon of Herodus Atticus, on the day an important football game is also taking place. Small everyday stories and comic incidents combine to create a portrait of modern-day Athens.

One of these boys strangles his wealthy client and he is immediately arrested.

Dimitris Thalassias is a single singing teacher at a senior high school in Athens and undertakes the care of a child abandoned by its mother at the door of the foundling hospital. He does everything required to raise it right, but he sees his life changing unexpectedly, since his fiancée leaves him, and his relations with his students go from bad to worse. While this is happening, the mother shows up to claim her child. In the end, everything is corrected, and a solution is provided through marriage.

Against the backdrop of Athens' bustling streets, a Greek white-collar worker starts his day off by doing various errands, and even though he hasn't worked all day, in reality, he is exhausted. Is this what his typical day off looks like?

An unruly voyeurism, Simos, works in a hotel as a bourgeois. A gang of burglars has put in the eye of the hotel's safe.
