Yogi Joshi (Kamal Sadanah) is the hardworking middle class student who goes to college with the traditional Pooja (Ayesha Julka), who is the daughter of a single-father. Pooja has been in love with Yogi for quite some time, but Yogi seems to see her as a good friend. Yogi's father (Bharat Kapoor) works at the factory owned by the successful Indu Singh (Amrita Singh). Indu admits her daughter into the same college as Yogi and Pooja. She is a trustee of the college and is assured by the Principal that Kajal is in good hands. Kajal (Divya Bharti) goes to college and tries to park in Pooja's spot, but Pooja cuts her off. The two get in an altercation and to show Pooja how much power Kajal has, she drives her jeep into the corridors of the college and stops right in front of Pooja and her friends, including Yogi.

Neha is employ by Hari Saxena as a dancer and singer and has many fans. She relocates to a distant village for solace and gets to meet one of her die-hard fan who also paints her hoardings for her shows Rajesh Tripathi alias Raja; who is reluctant to be friends with her but Neha is least interested and wants nothing to do with him. He continues to pursue her only to be belittle; then situations turn violent forcing her to finally accept his friendship. The young village girl Chitti (Divya Bharti) is a bubbly and fun-loving childwoman. She's enjoying life with her young group of friends consisting of three younger boys. One day, while playing one of her pranks, an old man curses her. On top of that, she witnesses a pregnant woman falling at night and suffering immense pain before ultimately dying. This incident causes Chitti's fear of pregnancy. However, the young man Mohan Babu visits the village and befriends Chitti. Soon after that, her parents arrange the marriage between Chitti and Mohan Babu. Both are more than happy with this arrangement. After the wedding, however, Chitti doesn't want to consummate the marriage out of fear of pregnancy. Mohan Babu is unhappy about it and soon gets attracted to a young doctor (Pooja Bedi). Dreaming of spending nights with her, Mohan Babu gets drunk and soon after goes home and rapes Chittui.
