On a night in Paris, as scenes of jubilation greet news of the reunification of Korea, the realities of separation and conflict continue to dampen the spirits of some.

Following them from theatre to theatre, the film documents their work as well as their strange, intimate relationships. As the line becomes blurry, the stage seems to contaminate real life – unless the opposite is happening. Little by little dance grows into a troubling journey into our nights, our parties, our loves.

At night, during the Persian new year celebrations in Spring, the inhabitants of Los Angeles become the hosts to memories of Tehran. They no longer speak English, but a Persian idiom. Neon lights fill the streets with psychedelic colors. During this interval, like the old roman technics of the memory palace which used space visualisation to memorize information, the material space of the ephemeral and mutant territory of Los Angeles streets are used to host the memory of Tehran one last time before disappearing.

The feature film as well as the interactive website takes the visitors on a dive through the physical shoals of the internet. World Brain explores the utopian dreams and ideologies connected to the development of collective intelligence and the idea of a worldwide network. "World Brain" follows the wanderings of a group of researchers who try to survive in the forest using Wikipedia, aiming at nothing less than the creation of an alternative project securing the survival of manhood.
