Nilde Baracchi sends Marcel Perez out fishing, armed .... I mean "equipped" with a long, sturdy bamboo fishing pole and a line and hook. However, what he catches is not fish in this funny late 'Robinet' short.

Robinet is jealous, with comedic results.

Saturnino Farandola: Raised by monkeys, taken in by sailors, captain of a frigate. He sets off to chart unknown worlds with his loyal crew. Beneath the sea he encounters love in the person of Mysora the beautiful. On land he comes up against a mad wise man, a Machiavellian mandarin and bloodthirsty Apaches, but nothing will be able to stop his desire to explore.

Marcel Perez meets Nilde Baracchi at a party and falls instantly in love. How much comedy short subjects have contributed to the 'falling in love at first sight' trope might make an interesting paper. Anyway, he falls in love, but things go wrong at the party, then again when he waits outside her apartment -- today we would say he was stalking her. Back then it was considered cute, particularly given the indignities of Italian slapstick -- and when he finally meets her again on a train.

Забавный и милый фильм о том как в некий пансион поступила работать новая горничная. Но она была уж слишком хороша. И все мужчины принялись с пылом волочиться за ней. Пришлось ей в сговоре с хозяйкой "остудить" их пыл. А горничная действительно хороша. Фигуристая такая... И улыбка и смех у нее очень славные. Искренне, без наигранности.
