A Hong Kong diva dies of a heart attack during a rehearsal with her faithful servant. Unaware of her death, the servant goes about her life as usual, until she is visited by the diva's spirit. The diva coaxes her servant into believing that the only way to bring her back to life is to find her long lost love, Prince Charming. Ironically, he is both the diva and the servant's love interest.

In 1978 in Hong Kong, a grisly murder takes place. Eight years later, on a Macao beach, kids discover the severed hands of a fresh victim. A squadron of coarse, happy-go-lucky cops investigate, and suspicion falls on Wong Chi Hang, the new owner of Eight Immortals Restaurant, which serves delicious pork bao. The hands belong to the missing mother of the restaurant's former owner; he and his family have disappeared; staff at the restaurant continue to go missing; and, Wong can't produce a signed bill of sale: but there's no evidence. The police arrest Wong and try to torture him into a confession. Can they make him talk? And what was in those pork bao?
Chu Lai-Ngor (Carol 'Dodo' Cheng) and her daughter Vivian (Vivian Chow) have now moved in with Alex Lui (George Lam). They're not married yet but she's calling herself Mrs. Lui now. Stephen and his friends Linus and William, all in their late teens, loitering out all day with nothing to do. They steal cars' radios for a living. Previously, they are unduly provoked by an instructor at a Cadet School, the three decide to get revenge and steal the car's radio of that Instructor. However, they get caught. Leung, another probation officer, requests to take on their case. Leung is a kind man who loves cycling, he hopes that he could inculcate them an interest in cycling...
A man is jailed unfairly for his debts, so his son (rarely used actor Steve Yu) takes up a job as a traveling medicine salesman and street performer to get him out. During his travels, he is killed in a confrontation with the son of a local kingpin. The son's kung fu school colleagues, along with the grieving sister and love interest, come to town as street performers in order to investigate and/or avenge his death. A local ally of the hero pretends to play both sides of the conflict....
