Oru Viral Krishna Rao was an Indian film actor and comedian who appeared in Tamil-language films. A recipient of the state government's `Kalai Maamani' award, Rao got the nickname Oru Viral (a finger) for his first Tamil film in 1965. He acted in nearly 600 Tamil and Telugu films in a career spanning four decades.
Fake swami
A thief is mistaken for an NRI returning to work with a rich businessman and marry his daughter. The real guy, meanwhile, ends up with the thief's friend. The odd pairs fall in love midst the chaos.
Ponrasu's Father
Subramani, Vellaisamy, Arumugam and Ponrasu are four friends from poor family; they are graduate but they cannot find a job. Their fathers feel that they are good-for-nothing and decide to corrupt the politician Anja Nenjam to find them a decent job. Anja Nenjam is linked to Pannaiyar, a ruthless landlord who exploited the villagers. Pannaiyar orders him to flee with their money, otherwise, nobody will respect him. Their friend Pazhanisamy, who is supposed to be a supervisor in the city, is back to his village and was also cheated by Anja Nenjam. The five friends decide to become milk suppliers in their village.
Sethu falls in love with the village head's daughter. However, things are not all that smooth, as his elder brother is given the responsibility of protecting the girl's honour until she is married.
Muthupandi's Father
Indra and her three sisters are married off to mediocre men by their patriarchal father. However, he realises their importance when his son stirs discord in the family.
Uma marries Balu, an honest civil engineer. Uma thinks that he is rich and receives lot of bribes but turns out Balu is from the middle-class like her. Uma is a miser and dreams to become rich. After few years, they have two children. In the meantime, Priya, the daughter of Balu's boss Rajasekhar, falls in love with Balu and asks him to marry her unaware of Balu's marriage and his two children. Balu refuses to marry her as he was already married but she compels him. When Priya meets Uma, she offers her one crore rupees in exchange for marrying Balu. Uma immediately agrees and she starts forcing Balu for remarriage. Finally, Balu agrees with heavy heart as Uma threatens to commit suicide. Soon, Balu also starts falling in love with Priya. Uma slowly realizes her mistake and wants to get Balu back. The rest of the story is what happen to Balu, Uma and Priya.

Sivaraman, an honest government clerk, and his wife Lakshmi, belong to a middle-class family and they have two children. Anja Singam Marudupandi, a corrupted politician, moves into a new house near Sivaraman's house. Marudupandi's life style influences Lakshmi and she tries to ape him by buys luxurious items on installments. This puts pressure on Sivaraman and he takes a loan from his office peon but the police arrests him for corruption. He later finds a job in a brandy company with Marudupandi's recommendation.

Gayatri's guardian (Jaishankar) accepted for their marriage but Vasanth (S. N. Vasanth), his son, also wanted to marry her and sent henchmen to kill him. Kannan died at Gayatri's birthday party where her guardian had arranged for their engagement after Gayatri promised to help his family. Vasanth's father sent his son to jail and he apologized to Gayatri. She went to her friend Mary's village instead of her.
