Rajahamsa movie is a romantic entertainer written and directed by Jadesh Kumar Hampi while Joshua Sridhar scored music for this movie. Mallamma, a Shiva devotee, marries Dharanna. She is excited to start a new life with her husband, however her in-laws treat her horribly and she loses faith in Lord Shiva.

A young couple, Ganga and Nakulan, arrives at the ancestral home called Madampalli of the latter. Hailing from a family that follows tradition and superstitions, Nakulan's uncle Thampi objects to the couple's idea of moving into the allegedly haunted mansion, which Nakulan ignores. The couple moves in anyway following which seemingly supernatural events begin to happen.

Udaya Shankar has written the story and screenplay and Pughalendi Mahadevan has scored the music. The film stars Sridhar, Bhavya and Vajramuni in the lead roles. The film is centered on the Goddess Mookambika.

The story is based on the life of acclaimed saint poet Shishunala Sharif who wrote several moral poems striving towards social reformation. A collection of Sharif's poems are set to tunes by C. Ashwath, who also did the major playback singing.
