Two young men, one Israeli and one Palestinian, discover they were accidentally switched at birth.

After Tom Hurndall is shot in the head in Gaza, his parents Anthony and Jocelyn arrive in Israel wanting to know how it could have happened. They expect sympathy and cooperation from the Israeli authorities, but are instead met with an official explanation that fails to tally with any eye-witness accounts, and a wall of silence. When an Israeli army report attempts to whitewash the incident, the Hurndalls decide the only way to establish the truth is to launch their own investigation into the shooting, a process which brings them face to face with both the Open-Fire regulations of the Israeli army in Gaza, and the soldier who pulled the trigger.

The official reason was that he was shot to death while trying to escape from Israeli captivity in a safe house somewhere in Europe. 30 years after, the well communicated death story of the monster could be questionable, a small article appears in a local unimportant paper in a small town in Ukraine. Surprisingly the Surgeon is ALIVE and is willing to admit his crimes against the human race and especially the Jews. The 3 older x Mossad agents who are in their late 60th became aware to this unfortunate threatening knowledge. The fact was that the "Surgeon" managed to escape from his guards 30 years ago.

В Израиле мальчика усыновляет семья выходцев из Туниса и вскоре он становится полноценным гражданином Израиля с гордым именем Шломо, несмотря на то, что мать воспитала его христианином. Он ощущает себя израильтянином, выходцем из Туниса, носителем французской культуры, не забывая о своих корнях. Впрочем, трудности абсорбции не миновали его. Он страдает от расизма, ему постоянно напоминают о тёмном цвете кожи.
