Pedantic policeman Frantisek (Ondrej Vetchý) wants to bring up his three daughters with a firm hand. He would like to see the girls coupled with capable and successful men, but instead they have the talent to find the opposite. Moreover, one of them is constantly trying to get pregnant, second one is only dating exotic fools and the third one is expecting a baby without knowing who is the father. Frantisek and his wife (Simona Stasová) always spend their vacation at the local lake, although the wife is dreaming of the seaside. One day she meets a bohemian writer with slightly suicidal tendencies (Miroslav Táborský) and an attractive colleague with Spanish roots (Kristína Peláková) walks into Frantisek's office and things get moving...

А она в это время бежит через дикие леса, преследуемая самым могущественным человеком в окрестностях из-за того ужаса, которому стала свидетельницей. A bitter-sweet comedy about two people who wish to live life to the full despite their age. Ota is a retired high-school teacher and at this point in life has various foibles that complicate life for his son and daughter-in-law. Moreover, he has a complicated and risky eye operation ahead. That is why Ota decides that this is the time to look up Jana, the retired actress who had influenced the course of his life many years ago. However, his reunion with Jana - who lives in a retirement home - works out differently to his expectations. Although disappointed at first, it is actually this zestful lady who sets Ota in the right direction again. Thanks to Jana, Ota finds the courage to set out on an exciting road-movie trip of the kind he would never have had the courage for in his youth. Their meeting and the excursion, full of unexpected turns and new impressions, give their lives a new dimension.

Two young technicians, Filos and Kája, come to a small village that is a bit cut off from the rest of the world in order to find the best place to install a new station for the reception of a cell phone signal. Their arrival understandably arouses a feeling of expectation among the locals, especially when they learn of the interesting financial reward for the owner of the land on which the transmitter will stand. A fight flares up in the village over this reward, and all weapons, those permitted and those not, are put into use. Of course, there is also the question of whether Filos and Kája will be able to live up to the expectations that have been placed on them. Maybe they aren't even who they claim to be...

История взлета и падения карьеры одного пражского официанта в первой половине двадцатого века. Амбициозный молодой человек из официанта в гостинице маленького чешского приграничного городка попадает в огромный отель в центре Праги, и даже удостаивается награды от императора Абиссинии. Но настоящий взлет карьеры официанта случается после захвата Чехословакии немецкими войсками.

Двое подростков, влюбленных в сноуборд, приезжают на горнолыжный курорт с целью круто отдохнуть и отметить Новый год. Но не все так просто складывается для них: хозяин дома, в котором поселились главные герои, заваливает их работой (конечно… живут-то парни бесплатно в доме…), да ещё и старшая сестра «села на хвост» по указу отца одного из ребят, дабы контролировать и докладывать о всех поступках младшего сына! Ну какой же тут может быть отдых? Парни отчаянно пытаются найти время, чтобы покататся по снегу, вместо скучной и надоедливой работы. Собственно на снежной трассе они и знакомятся с симпатичными девчонками, за которыми уже «ухаживают» крутые перцы-сноубордисты. В итоге разворачивается война на три фронта: против надоедливого хозяина котеджа и его нескончаемой «работы по дому», против старшей сестры и против ухажеров за девчатами, на которых наши герои тоже положили глаз…

During the First World War, the crooks Scholef and Krumka sell weapons on the black market. After the collapse of the monarchy they try their hand at speculation on a grand scale.

The husband and wife Ludva and Hedus Homolkas with their twins Péta and Máta and Ludva's parents - the granny and grandpa - arrive in the snowy Spindleruv Mlýn for a holiday. They promise to each other that they will not spoil the quite expensive holiday by quarrels. If somebody hurts the other one he/she will kneel as a punishment.

The summer holidays are approaching and the children are bragging about all the exciting places they are going to visit during the long-awaited two months of summer. Only Tonda is not looking forward to staying in Prague over the holidays. He brightens up after his father announces that the boy can visit some friends of the family in the village of Petipas.

In the aftermath of World War II, a soldier takes charge of a manor formerly owned by a German family and falls in love with the daughter, now a maid. Their relationship forces him to confront the tension between his love and his conscience.

A young woman from an old patrician family in Prague collapses and is institutionalized in a psychic ward. The non-linear narration unveils here fortunes one by one. The prose of Jakub Arbes is the basis for this experimental film poem. The storyline is uncovered in a mosaic of pictures in a purely visual form, without a single word.

More than twenty years after the Second World War, a mining engineer named Fischer is revealed as a former member of the Gestapo, Karel Kraus. He is sentenced for murder to eight years in prison and now works with other prisoners on the renovation of the Convent of St Agnes of Bohemia in Prague. Then a car with a foreign registration begins to park regularly close to the construction site. Its crew, a man and a woman, contact the construction foreman, who probably would not reject a bribe offer to perform some service. The prisoner Bicík is appointed to work with Kraus; Bicík gives him a message from Kraus' brother Bert, who lives abroad, that he wants to help him escape.
