Три гимназиста из маленького сербского городка, оккупированного немцами, выживают, как могут. Ребята занимаются сбытом контрабандных сигарет, не гнушаются воровством, но каждый раз, собираясь в своем тайном месте, на чердаке старого амбара, обсуждают планы мести ненавистным оккупантам.
