Situated in Prague, a 20-year-old Vietnamese named Song, hoped for a better future in Europe. But now in a Vietnamese district in Prague, he is trapped in a marijuana grow house and has life of a modern slave. Police rounds up the place. Song runs away on the rooftop of a condo building in a nearby district where he breaks down. Mr. Rypar (78) lives alone. He is fond of the old times, living in a strong opposition to modern world. Rypar goes up on the roof and meets Song standing on the very edge of the roof crying and the story begins.

The film 8 Heads of Madness is about the eternal struggle between the artist and external circumstances, the artist and her demons and longings. 8 Heads of Madness is a drama woven from fragments of an appalling era. An unhappy cross-section of the 20th century in an unhappy country, as seen through the sensitive, perceptive vision of a poet.

Все происходит на День Трех Королей. Это день ежегодного 50-километрового забега, или «Королевской пятидесятки». Но о спорте речи нет. Все задумано, чтобы поведать о Крконошах, одном из красивейших горных районов Чехии. А также о его обитателях, истинных горцах. Об этих традициях, обычаях и поверьях. В этом удивительном краю дорогу машине может пересечь одноногая лыжница, здесь у всех мужчин старше пятидесяти – ветвистые рога, и они им только рады. Водится там и благородный бабник с секс-миссией, и самый крутой, самый настоящий мужик, у которого только один недостаток – не мужик он. В этот день чьи-то судьбы заново переплетаются через 38 лет, а чьи-то сталкиваются впервые, самым неожиданным и потешным образом. Фильм простой, житейский, в чем-то грустный, но больше юморной. Но учтите – юмор будет истинно горский!

The performance opens up with wonderful interplay of relationships, characters, situations, conflicts, big hopes and ambitious plans interwoven with a love motif. At the end of this bizarre story we are surprised by the harmony created from the discord of authentic human emotions.

Story follows two best friend on private investigation. They are going to their hometown to prove that Michals mother was killed by his stepmother.
