Wearing an old pair of sunglasses from the thrift shop, Sherry realises that she can read everybody’s minds… up to a point. She can see why they chose the clothes they wear and what insecurities they are covering up. It seems that almost everyone has a deep-rooted hatred of how they look and the sunglasses may be part of the antidote. When she meets her friend Caitlyn, for coffee, she realises her glasses could help her and others.

Colossomus is an ambitious man with a simple dream: to build a death ray on the moon to destroy all mankind. He has his plans, he has his team, all he needs is a loan from the bank. Bernie is a young loan broker on the last day of his apprenticeship. He has to seal a deal - preferably one that won't sink the bank into receivership or ruin it's reputation - or he's back working on the tellers - if they'll have him, his boss Greg warns. Bernie and Colossomus eventually come to an agreement, without either compromising their principles, and a reluctant hero emerges.

Joseph seems to be building a strong following of admirers. The only problem is that he is completely unaware of their interest in him. As simple barista it would be great if they were after his coffee but they all want much more. When his stalkers learn of each other, and Joseph’s neighbour is mistaken for him, the situation boils over. Does he ever find out?
