Из-за мощного взрыва на Солнце на всей Земле может исчезнуть электроэнергия. Электромагнитное поле Земли — щит, построенный людьми, — формируется специальными энергетическими Станциями, одна из которых была отключена Мусорщиками — неизвестными существами. 12-летний Вадик попадает в круговорот событий, и на его плечи ложится миссия спасения мира. Ему на помощь приходит Бобот — трансформаторная будка, носитель Энергии Вселенной. Вместе они пытаются предотвратить катастрофу.
