Líba has only one birthday wish every year. She insists that the whole family come together for her celebration, which they all always do. That is, until this year's birthday. Her son Petr has other plans for this year, so he pretends to be sick in front of the family. This year, for the first time, he wants to spend his birthday with his friend Karl, who has a birthday on the same day. And Karel is Peter's long-hidden secret for the rest of the family. However, Líba is not going to give up her celebration so easily. She decides to surprise Peter and move in with the whole family. An unexpected visit forces Peter to quickly improvise. In front of your family, turning your friend Karel into a colleague from work and his sister Veronika into your girlfriend is basically a piece of cake. But Petr doesn't know yet that this is just the beginning and today will be one big rollercoaster ride.

"A documentary anatomy of mass murder for one monitor and 34 talking heads." These are the words the filmmakers use in the credits to describe their project, which thematises the execution of more than 260 Carpathian Germans, Hungarians and Slovaks by Czechoslovak army soldiers near Přerov in June 1945. The “massacre at Přerov” is made present through a minimalist dramatisation of the interrogation footage of direct participants, eyewitnesses, and others. It is as if the characters of ancient theatre were entering the Zoom “stage” and delivering a tragic message of fear, hatred and disinterest across the chasm of time.

Фильм повествует о жизни Милады Гораковой. Действие происходит между 1937 и 1950 годами и рассказывает историю женщины, в чьей личности и жизни, моральные принципы были укоренены настолько сильно, что она часто в своих решениях руководствовалась совестью, чем сердцем, несмотря на угрозы жизни для своей семьи. Милада Горакова была казнена 27 июня 1950 года, несмотря на то, что тогдашний президент Чехословацкой Республики получил много просьб о помиловании. Альберт Эйнштейн, Уинстон Черчилль или Элеонора Рузвельт попросили ее помиловать. Центральными темами фильма являются свобода, борьба за демократию, правда, любовь, надежда, власть и самопожертвование, которые очень актуальны и сегодня. Цель фильма - привлечь к личности Милады Гораковой, ее жизнь и судьбе, самой широкой аудитории в Чешской Республике и за рубежом.

The story is freely inspired by the life and work of Jan Saudek, who is probably the most well-known Czech photographer internationally and has indisputably been involved in the development of international photography. He has exhibited and sold his work in the largest galleries and art houses, he has earned international recognition and awards, he enjoys great popularity and interest - he is a true phenomenon.

Безобидный обычай похищения невесты (представьте, и в Чехии такой есть) по капризу судьбы превращается в нечто несусветное. Захолустная пивная пуста – идет чемпионат Европы по хоккею, а телевизор неисправен. К тому же разражается страшная гроза, отрезая от мира невесту, свидетеля жениха и бармена. Все эти трое – женского пола, что само по себе любопытно. К их услугам целый бар спиртного, а спиртное, как известно, развязывает язык. И не только. Этот фильм чехи определили как комедию, очень справедливо определили, хотя кто-то увидит в нем и драму. Едкий, забавный и жизненный фильм. Снято по пьесе, которая успешно идет в театрах, и тем, как раскручивается действие, напоминает пьесы Пристли.

Действие фильма происходит в небольшом посёлке. Из-за подозрений на бешенство было решено отвезти на бойню несколько коров. Но животные, чувствуя опасность, убегают. В то время как коровы живут в лесу, населенный пункт, из которого они сбежали, разбивается на два лагеря: одна часть людей хочет срочно коров найти, потому что им не место в лесу, другие желают, чтобы животные оставались на свободе...

Luisa and Erika are prototypes of young women who plunge into relationships with the "wrong" men. Luisa wants to become an actress, which upsets her husband Igor to no end. Erika is trying to work as much as possible so that she can afford to study and thereby achieve a better outlook on life, but she unfortunately runs up against a boss who doesn't have the best intentions with her. Ultimately Luisa's husband demonstratively commits suicide. Erika accidentally kills her boss in self-defense... The women blame themselves for all these failures, and that has got to change. Both have to grow up and start living again. Perhaps even together.

Сюжетной основой является первая часть поэтической драмы Гете, где повествование, в основном, строится на любовной линии Фауст-Маргарита.
