Parankimala is a 2014 Malayalam film directed by Sennan Pallassery. The film features Beyon and Vinutha Lal in the lead roles. The film was produced by Vijin and Thomas Kokkat. The film is based on a novel by Kakkanadan by the same name and is a remake of the film by the same name in 1981 which was directed by Bharathan. It focuses on the life of Thanka, played by Vinutha Lal, who sacrifices her life for her lover. In the 1981 movie, the role was played by Soorya. Biyon is the male lead in the film. Jagadeesh, Indrans and Kalabhavan Mani plays supporting roles in the movie.

To Noora with Love is a 2014 Malayalam film directed by Babu Narayanan and produced by Mohammed Ansar under the banner of Don Bros.

Rajan Pillai (Atul Kulkarni) is an underworld gangster living in Mumbai. Sub Inspector Sreedharan Menon (Sreenivasan) is a police officer. Sreedharan is very concerned about the family of a colleague who has been murdered while on duty. He shares a strong emotional bond with his colleague's two sons. The elder of the two, Pappan (Disney James), is a taxi driver who is married and has a child. The younger one, Appu (Bineesh Kodiyeri), is jobless and is ready to do anything to land a job. The rest of the story unravels the emotional bond between Pappan and Appu.

Structured on the point of view of three individuals, Krishnappa Narasimha Shashtri, an old Indian freedom fighter, Gowri Iyer an Indian journalist and Emma Hall, a British banker. The film is set in the 1920s of colonial India and revolves around the lives of three groups of people, the peasants from a village called Kunthapura, the freedom fighters of the princely state of Mysore and a group of archeologists commissioned to do an excavation in the village of Kunthapura

Banking Hours 10 to 4 is a suspense thriller happening in a bank as a person gets killed inside the bank premises and the suspense is revealed within the banking hours of 10 to 4.

The film is based on three separate incidents that take place in Kochi. The first one involves the murder of a young politician, Jaimy Padamadan, which is being investigated by Jacob Alexander (Sharath Kumar). The murder occurs during an election season and the main suspect in the case is a local don named Paruthikkadan (Suresh Krishna). The investigation is affected due to his political influences. The next story is about Anupama (Bhavana), an I. T. Employee. She is being followed by a group of gangsters. The story takes new turns and the mystery gets solved. The third story is about a group of five friends, Harikrishnan (Nivin Pauly), Usman (Bhagath Manuel), Sujath (Suraj Venjaramoodu), Sooraj (Arun) and Govind (Biyon Gemini). Harikrishnan is a youth working in Gulf. He and his friends are travelling to Palai. He has a package from Gulf which he is supposed to give to another person. The story takes new turns during their journey.

The film is a tribute to the yesteryear actresses who had been graceful, popular figures in cinema during their younger age with patronage and later got completely disregarded by the industry, media and the masses alike. Ranjith has drawn inspiration from the life of many actresses but especially from the romantic link-up of the late actress Srividya with actor Kamal Haasan.

After witnessing the murder of his father by Eappachan, Kochu flees his village to escape him. Years later, Kochu, now a don, returns to the village to avenge his father.

'Mahathma' is a 1996 Malayalam action film. Directed by Shaji Kailas, with Suresh Gopi, Ganesh Kumar, Devan, Rajan P. Dev, Biju Menon and Ramya Krishnan appearing in lead roles, this film revolved the growth of an underworld don. The story is unfolded in flashback, travelling through the memories of Devadevan, the protagonist. Produced at a huge budget, the film bombed at box office. It is an adaptation of the 1983 Al Pacino film Scarface.

After his retirement, Raghavan Nair (Thilakan) is back at his home. His long cherished dream to spend his retired life along with his family is thwarted after seeing his two sons brawling each other over their political differences.

Chanthu, a poor orphan and Aromal are cousins and belong to the Chekavar clan, a warrior clan who hire themselves out as duellers to settle disputes among the rich and powerful. Aromal, jealous of the much more talented Chanthu, makes life miserable for him and Chanthu decides to leave and live with Aringodar, a rival chekavan, as his pupil. When the two sons of a local landlord have a property dispute and decide to hire Aromal and Aringodar to duel it out, Chanthu has to decide where his loyalty lies - with the family of the uncle who brought him up or with Aringodar who provided him with sanctuary.
