Former soldier take up a fight with a bunch who attacks his home village

After the war, the community of mountaineers is eager to start their own sawmill. When the communist authorities come to take over the sawmill, a rebellion starts.

A young journalist from Warsaw goes to a small town of Kamienica to prepare a report on a motorcycle gang.

Polish musical comedy. The film focuses on two friends who spend their vacation in the beautiful countryside of Mazury. They buy a very nice car (Syrenka), but in order to pay for it the men need to start working as solicitors for a notable art impresario named Koszajtis. Soon they get thrown right in the middle of a hilarious war between two rivaling music-and-dance groups.

A group of workers builds a bridge near a large dam. They get drunk with a visiting reporter, who falls into the river and disappears.

Walkover, the autobiographical second feature by Polish enfant terrible Jerzy Skolimowski echoes the French nouvelle vague in its extraordinarily stylized tale of a prizefighter who ducks a fight to romance a beautiful blonde.

"Waiting for Godot" on ice and snow, without words. Against a barren winter landscape, a figure approaches: it's a man, pulling a small sleigh on which another man sits, plucking a dead bird. They stop to trade places; the one now on the sleigh takes out his knitting. Accidents, misunderstandings, disagreements, and an outright fight await our absurd protagonists as their trip to nowhere continues, first with one pulling, then the other. What if they were to lose the sleigh? What rules of civilization and partnership would guide them then?

В руки шоферов Казика и Владека попадает метиловый спирт, который они, приняв за обычный, продают, оставив немного и себе. Всех, кто выпил этот спирт, а таких оказалось много, с признаками тяжелого отравления доставляют в больницу. Там устанавливают, чем люди отравились. Начинаются поиски этого спирта и тех, кто его продавал. Но оба виновника умирают: один так и не узнав, в чем он виноват, другой травится, узнав, что он наделал.

The twenty-one-minute-film is set in a men's public rest room and recounts the day to day existence of an elderly woman who serves as an attendant in the lavatory. As an endless procession of men pass before her, relieving themselves in the urinals, the attendant escapes her reality by daydreaming about the past and the soldier she once loved and the child she bore him.

A short Polish black and white silent movie directed by Roman Polański. The film features two men who emerge from the sea carrying a large wardrobe, which they proceed to carry into a town. Carrying the wardrobe, the two encounter a series of hostile events, including being attacked by a group of youths (one of whom is played by Polanski himself). Finally, they arrive back at a beach and then disappear in the sea.
