Оно бы и хорошо, но дело в том, что библиотеки в городе нет. И что делать?.. Для Йылмаза, внука мэра, это лето стало последним летом детства – слишком много он узнал в те дни о дружбе и любви, о соседстве и политике, и о многих других взрослых вещах. В том числе и о том, сколь зыбка бывает грань между комедией, драмой и трагедией. Сценарий основан на детских воспоминаниях режиссера Йылмаза Эрдогана, который провел в Хаккари свое детство.
