Born in Weston-Super-Mare in 1979, Michelle Terry is an Olivier award-winning English actress and writer, known for extensive work for the RSC, National Theatre and Shakespeare’s Globe, the latter of which she became artistic director of in 2018. Her television work includes co-writing and starring with Ralf Little in Sky's Weston-set sitcom The Café. She is married to the actor, Paul Ready.
