A Bulgarian "Drugstore Cowboy." A teenage girl's rebellion through drugs becomes a metaphor for the struggle between individuality and totalitarianism. Amidst the political upheaval of 1968, Sybilla (the "Countess") is sent to a girls' re-education camp when she is caught using drugs. After a failed affair and an abortion, Sybilla's drug use lands her in a mental clinic where she resists efforts to remold her personality. Based on a true story.

In the 17th century, a Bulgarian Christian region is selected by the Ottoman rulers to serve as an example of conversion to Islam. A Janissary who was kidnapped from the village as a boy is sent to force the reluctant inhabitants to convert. The Turkish governor seeks a peaceful solution, but ultimately torture, violence, and rebellion break out.

A silly prince wants to marry a beautiful peasant girl. His guards kidnap her, but the girl escapes and returns to her beloved. Meanwhile, a UFO lands in the kingdom and the aliens witness nuisances, court intrigues, and lies. They are not allowed to meddle in other people's affairs, but they still influence the happy ending.

1930s, Dobrudja. The shepherds Vasil, Peter and Ago work in the farm of Zachariah and Sevastitsa. Vasil is the manager of the sheepfold. In his house lives the young and beautiful Vasilena, for whom everyone sighs.

A couple of young ladies decide to obtain a driving license. The film is a true comedy of relations, caused between the driving-teacher and the beginner-drivers.

Sick and tired of the daily grind, engineer Filip Gerakov encounters on the beach Maria, eccentric wife of a prosperous research associate. Maria leads a leisurely if somewhat dull existence. Deep down, she craves for normal, spontaneous relationships and emotions. Filip and Maria soon make friends. They find in each other what they themselves have lacked. Their friendship gradually grows in love. Sharing their dreams and making plans for the future, the lovers vow to be inseparable and to make a new life. One day Maria's husband arrives in his black limousine. Watched at a distance by Filip, Maria makes her choice: she leaves with her husband, opting for the good life she is used to.

В начале Второй мировой войны шестеро болгарских коммунистов-подпольщиков были схвачены полицией и заключены в тюрьму. На допросах и пытках заключённые проявили необычайные стойкость и мужество - никто не стал предателем. Когда троих из них вели на казнь, то они успели сообщить оставшимся в заключении имя предателя, выдавшего их, чтобы это имя передали за стены тюрьмы и этим предотвратили дальнейшие провалы подпольных групп.

О жизни и борьбе болгарской молодежи против гитлеровских захватчиков в годы Второй мировой войны. …Тупик на одной из окраин Софии. В маленьком убогом домике живут два друга — философ Пётр и студент-ветеринар Йошка. По заданию подпольной организации Пётр взрывает немецкие бензобаки. Йошка спасает своего раненого друга, и сам гибнет в борьбе с фашистами.
