Thanks to declassified archives, graphic animations and testimonies from experts, lobbyists and politicians, this investigation plunges us into the science of doubt. Along with a team of experts (philosophers, economists, cognitive scientists, political men, or even agnotologists), we explore concrete examples of doubt making and try to understand the whole process and the issues behind it.

Правда у всякого своя, а значит не стоит напрягать мозг и разбираться в фактах — достаточно принять на веру самую удобную точку зрения. Американский режиссер Роберт Кеннер, автор фильма «Торговцы сомнениями», снятого на основе нашумевшей одноименной книги историков науки Наоми Орескис и Эрика Конуэя, показывает, как с помощью таких же технологий в общественном сознании можно поставить под сомнение даже железные научные факты: вред курения, опасность кислотных дождей, растущие озоновые дыры и, наконец, антропогенное глобальное потепление.
