The New Beginning is an annual professional wrestling event promoted by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). The event is held in February, the month following NJPW's biggest annual event, the January 4 Dome Show, usually the culmination point of major storylines. As the name of the event suggests, it marks the beginning of a new year for the promotion. Since 2012, the event is mainly held at Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium (also known as Bodymaker Colosseum and Edion Arena Osaka) in Osaka.

This was Impact Wrestling's first event to take place outside of Nashville, Tennessee since Sacrifice in February 2020. Dominion in Osaka-jo Hall was a professional wrestling event promoted by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). The event took place on July 12, 2020, in Osaka, Osaka, at the Osaka-jō Hall and was the twelfth event under the Dominion name and sixth in a row that took place at the Osaka-jō Hall. Dominion in Osaka-jo Hall was officially announced on June 9, 2019, during Dominion 6.9 in Osaka-jo Hall. It was scheduled to take place on June 14, 2020, but was postponed to July 12, to allow the rescheduled New Japan Cup tournament to take place instead, as the tournament was originally planned to be held earlier in the year but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the pandemic, the arena was limited to one-third capacity.

Power Struggle (2018) was a professional wrestling event promoted by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). It took place on November 3, 2018, in Osaka, Osaka, at the Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium. It was the eighth event under the Power Struggle name. New Japan returns to Fukuoka for the annual Wrestling Dontaku event! This time, it will be held as a two night event, which we will likely see a defense of the IWGP Intercontinental Championship and the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. The first Night will take place on May 3 and the second Night will be on May 4th.

Wrestle Kingdom 11 in Tokyo Dome was a professional wrestling event promoted by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). The event took place on January 4, 2017, at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. It was the 26th January 4 Tokyo Dome Show. The show was main evented by Kazuchika Okada defending the IWGP Heavyweight Championship against Kenny Omega. Other featured matches saw Tetsuya Naito defend the IWGP Intercontinental Championship against Hiroshi Tanahashi, Katsuyori Shibata defend the NEVER Openweight Championship against Hirooki Goto and Kushida defend the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion against Hiromu Takahashi. As part of a partnership between NJPW and the American Ring of Honor (ROH) promotion, the ROH World Championship was also defended at the event with Adam Cole taking on Kyle O'Reilly. All in all, the event featured eleven matches (one on the pre-show), eight of which were contested for championships.

Beginning this Saturday, May 21st, New Japan Pro Wrestling will begin their annual Best of the Super Juniors Tournament, which started way back in 1988. Two blocks of eight wrestlers compete in a series of singles matches. The top two competitors from each block advance to the Semi-Finals and face off, before the winners of those matches meet in the finals. The winner of the entire thing earns himself a shot at the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship. This year’s tournament runs from 5/21 until 6/7.

Wrestling Dontaku 2016 is an upcoming professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) promoted by New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW). The event is scheduled to take place on May 3, 2016, in Fukuoka, Fukuoka at Fukuoka Kokusai Center and will feature ten matches, five of which will be contested for championships.
