Где-то на бескрайних просторах Земли находится Богом забытая деревушка Абсурдистан, население которой составляет целых четырнадцать семей. Самая большая проблема для ее обитателей не удаленность от цивилизации, а перебои с водой. Но, как считает женская половина населения, главная беда их деревни — хроническая лень мужчин, которые не хотят палец о палец ударить, чтобы справиться с этой проблемой. Герои этой истории, Ая и Темелко выросли вместе и сейчас достигли того возраста, когда детская дружба, случается, перерастает в любовь. Но, как выясняется, прежде чем между ними могут установиться какие-либо отношения, Темелко должен помочь решить проблемы деревни с водой. Ситуация в деревне обостряется до предела, когда «водная проблема» перерастает в натуральную войну полов.

У врача Лазаря Перкова есть все — успешная карьера, красавица-жена и любящий сын. Однако в результате чудовищной автокатастрофы, его жизнь резко меняется. Лазаря начинают преследовать пугающие видения, в которых странные люди на непонятном языке пытаются его о чем- то предупредить.

The story speaks about the people who want to work, or want to change the world into a better place to live. All the characters in this film have no existence outside the imagination of the author and are inspired by the Balkan way of living. This is a story about the illusions of the Don Quixotes of the Balkans and their life style. Georgij is one of these. He is young, enthusiastic, well-mannered and a charming and committed teacher with an invincible spirit who wants to bring all innovations from the New World, which is Europe, to the Balkans. He opposes traditional Balkan skepticism and does not accept the status quo.

The story of is placed at the end of the 19th and at the second half of the 20th century. The locations are different and completely opposite: the rural Macedonia at one hand, and the urban environment of an industrial region in Belgium at another...

A tragicomedy on displaced people in the post-Communist era. Its protagonist are mostly oldtimers from the circus world and the variety stage. When the circus burns down and the "last performance" ends in tragedy, the fault for the loss is laid upon corrupt officials and smalltime gangsters. Veteran screen star Meri Boshkova - who played the title role in the first Macedonian feature film made, Frosina (1952) - can be seen in the role of Mimi, a woman at the dumpyard who lives with her dreams.
