A butterfly, a creature symbolising rebirth and a new beginning, epitomises Romina’s and Germán’s world, a world that consists of two parallel realities. In one of them they grow up as siblings who desire each other and try to give shape to their love without sexual fulfilment; in the other they are a young man and woman who form an awkward friendship instead of succumbing to their feelings for each other. Germán finds himself in a discordant relationship with Mariela. Mariela’s brother is interested in Bruno. Bruno is with Romina, but wants to be with Germán. Playfully alternating between these two realities, the lovers find themselves drawn into ever new couplings in order to explore their intuitive feelings – cautiously, but at the same time prepared to lose everything.

The earthquake in the city of San Juan, in January 1944, is the origin of the love story between Juan Domingo Perón (Osmar Nunez) and Eva Duarte (Julieta Diaz). He was a colonel in the Army and she was a popular radio actress. Eva collaborates with other artists in the collection organized by Peron, from the Secretary of Workr, to raise funds for earthquake victims. Neither then imagine what the future holds them.

María is a taciturn and reserved Argentinian woman who lives in Barcelona. The death of her grandfather, the last survivor of the family, forces her to return to Indio Muerto, a lost corner of Argentina. After an interminable trip, she arrives at the inhabited field only by the persistent wind and clouds of dust that increase the solitude of the place. Unexpectedly, she decides to stay.
Marcelo makes a living as a painter in a Buenos Aires square, with other street artists. Rejected and lonely as a result of his family's break up, he devotes himself to his girlfriend, and dreams of a happy future together with her. She, however, has other plans, which, along with Marcelo's discovery of the reasons for his family's separation, create increasing conflicts between them, and make Marcelo face reality more clearly.
Ruben is a bodybuilder, lives day and night dedicated to his body, which takes him all the time and does not look for work. But even the adversities of life cannot deter him from believing in himself as a superhero.
Movie composed of nine short films: "Rubén el Murciélago"; "El Artista Peripatético"; "El Condenado"; "El Tajo"; "Encuentros Lejanos"; "Latidos"; "Maese Trotamundos"; "Un Día Con Angela" y "Vértigos". "Historias Breves 0", came out in 1993 and still did not bear the "Historias Breves" name. It would later become the prestigious annual short film competition for directors.
