Tankový prapor (Tank Battalion) is a Czech comedy film. It was released in 1991. The movie represented the first privately produced movie in Czech Republic. It was a blockbuster. Today, the movie is perceived as a classic, it is the most acclaimed movie of his creator, director Vit Olmer, it starred Lukáš Vaculík, a popular star of youth movies in the main role, as well as the by-then well received comedian Miroslav Donutil.

В свободное время он со своими друзьями из школы и, особенно, с живущим по соседству дошколенком, очищает лес от мусора. Иногда им удается вернуть мусор «домой» к великому неудовольствию тех, кто пытался избавиться от него. Его главный «враг» — пацан годом старше, который ловит в лесу птиц для своей ручной совы. Из мести он разоряет вальер Томаша. Но постепенно вокруг Томаша объединяется весь класс и они полностью очищают лес, и сооружают из мусора фигуру бронтозавра.

After five years of hard work in America Juraj Hordubal (Anatoliy Kuznetsov) returns back home. He is looking forward to his wife Polana (Libuse Geprtová) and his little daughter Hafie. The family and the village welcome him with hesitation. Everybody believed that Juraj died in America because Polana stopped receiving money from him already two years ago. Polana's farm was prospering first of all thanks to the young stable boy Stepán (Sándor Oszter). Men in the pub first indicate and then say to Juraj directly that Polana has been unfaithful to him with Stepán.

Mr. Tau, the quiet and kind magician with a bowler hat and an umbrella, shows up unexpectedly on the wings of a plane during flight. The terrified crew contact the airport security service. After the plane lands, Mr. Tau disappears. The third security inspector Málek is determined to catch the hooligan at any price. To achieve this, he gives up his holiday to visit the children's summer camp. Mr. Málek's son, who just like all the other children is delighted by the new camp cook, Mr. Tau himself, has unknowingly set the inspector on the magician's trail. But the children at the camp are determined not to let their beloved magician get caught and ingeniously place all sorts of traps in Inspector Málek's way.

Радостным моментом становится приятельское общение с незрячим пожилым инженером и его дружелюбной овчаркой, а затем и с молодым соседом — солдатом, приехавшим в отпуск. Первая детская любовь, надежды, разочарования, разлука — всё это переживет героиня фильма, пытаясь найти своё место «под солнцем». И смыть накопившееся внутреннее эмоциональное напряжение может только прохлада долгожданного дождя…

The director of films for kids called Bonzurka together with her loyal assistants Drahuska and Honza are looking for the actors for a new movie "The Knee". Children for this movie should not be afraid and shy and they must have talent for acting. Thus the scouting is quite difficult. The most difficult is to find an actress for a main character who lost her hair after a serious illness and now has to spent the whole holiday in the countryside with a bald head resembling a knee. Although the makeup artist does his best an artificial baldness does not solve anything. From the selected little girls only the self-assertive Rosemary has the guts to let her long hair to be cut and shave off her head.

School supply teacher timid folk art Ales Brabec won first prize at a music festival and will therefore offer to work for the Prague little theater in the basement. Its director Soukup just needs a few songs for the upcoming musical, and so is willing to do everything to Alex to create the right atmosphere for composing.

Замечательная веселая комедия — абсолютно вольное переложение марктвеновского «Тома Сойера» на чешский лад. Соответственно, тут Тома зовут Томашеком, его друзей — Губерт («аналог» Гека) и Йожка (марктвеновский Джо Гарпер), а Бекки Тэтчер — Бланка. И дело происходит в Чехии в 1900 году.
