Krishna, the grandson of the village head, marries Seeta but his grandparents disapprove and throw him out of the house. However, he lies to them about having a baby to make them accept his marriage.

A man marries against the will of his grandmother and has to leave home. When he gets a chance to reconcile, he makes another mistake. He hires a baby to show as his own so as to please the old lady.

Raja lives with his elder brother, sister-in-law, and their little daughter. Rajabecomes a coolie and transports articles. He is jailed for smuggling. His brother gets into an accident at work at the mill and loses his arms. He loses his job and needs money for treatment. Raja begs his brother's boss , but he refuses.
