Другой - молодой человек с жилкой теоретика, начитавшийся Маркузе: по дороге на фронт в своём стареньком "Фиате" он рассуждает о том, как избавиться от ненужных стремлений и не покупать модных машин, навязываемых рекламой. Но, оказавшись пушечным мясом, молодые люди забывают и о патриотизме, и о рекламе, к которой лучше не прислушиваться.
