The Phantoms is a television movie inspired by the heart-warming, real-life events surrounding the 2009 New Brunswick provincial championship victory by the Bathurst High School (BHS Phantoms) boys varsity basketball team, a year after a terrible road accident takes the lives of seven players and the coach’s wife. In the following school year, as tragedy hangs over the community, the BHS Phantoms are reconstituted. The ragtag bunch of players gels as a team, and manages to lift community spirit on the long road to the provincial basketball finals.
Betty Munson
Cruel But Necessary is the story of Betty Munson's strange journey of self-discovery and soul-awakening in the traumatic years following the revelation, on videotape, of her husband's infidelity. Her marriage over, struggling to raise her teen-age son alone, Betty becomes driven to discover other secrets that may surround her and so she videotapes every aspect of her life during the gradual disintegration of her comfortable upper middle-class existence. Sometimes used as an eavesdropping device, other times as a confessional, Betty's camera dispassionately records the layers of family and personal dynamics. The film is seen entirely from the viewpoint of Betty's video camera resulting in a "surveillance tape" that is a kind of voyeurism of the absurd

Henry Winkler stars as Jack, a stressed-out computer salesman who can't sell his company's defective product and can't take any more noise from his hyperactive children. Jack looks forward to peace and quiet when his wife volunteers to take the kids camping - what he gets is a week that drives him even crazier! Jack's troubles begin when a party animal co-worker introduces him to a beautiful but wildly unpredictable manicurist named Cherice. When Cherice isn't handcuffing Jack to the bed, she's baking cakes in the middle of the night or eluding the police in high speed chases. Cherice turns Jack's dull, ordinary life into a wild non-stop adventure - and a delightfully zany comedy that will keep you laughing from start to finish.
