Hiromi Iwasaki

Twenty-four-year-old country bumpkin Aiko is a new teacher who has arrived at a new town and a new primary school. When nervous she blurts out her local dialect. This seals her nickname and reputation. Nonetheless, she is determined and strives to do her best for her students. She is an inspiration soon.

The main characters are the Mamiya brothers who are living together although they are over 30-years-old. Unconcerned with appearance and reputations, they enjoy their life in their own way. The only concern is the lack of girlfriends. One day, however, a change occurs to their mundane lives. The elder brother, Akinobu (Kuranosuke Sasaki), falls in love with a girl at a video shop. The younger brother, Tetsunobu (Muga Tsukaji), scrambles around to aid his brother achieve love and arranges various dates. The elder brother strives to return the effort, but gets the cold shoulder. The two brothers return to their original lives, continuing with their ordinary, but happy days.

A woman's husband dies in a car accident, but that same evening he is heard pounding on the door for someone to let him in.

Naoto Ogata plays Sadajiro, a young farmer fighting out the battle of the riot through to the end. Sadajiro's wife is played by Hiromi Iwasaki, his father is played by Go Kato and Ryuzo Hayashi plays a leader of the Riot. The Riot in Gujo is called one of the biggest three riots in the Edo Period as it took almost 5 years to settle and also involved the Edo government. This movie is a period film about the riot and Gujo farmers fighting for their tenacity of purpose. The farmers had suffered enough from heavy taxes and decided to rise up in riot when the domain lord, Yorikane, issued a new act, which practically forced tax increases. Asking the lord to retract the act, they pour down to the Hachiman Castle. For once they attain the repeal deed signed by the chief retainer. However the promise is broken. Now the farmers decide to make a direct plea to the Edo Residence…This film is full tension and breathless moments.

April 1954. 12 year old schoolgirl Sadako thinks her main problem is being unable to pass the baton in relay races. But just as her team starts winning, she starts getting tired more easily. She is sent back to the American Base Victory Hospital, where the diagnosis is lymphatic leukemia. And she has no more than a year left to live. Her parents agree with the doctor that Sadako should not be told, but will she find out anyway ?

Все члены семьи Кимура одержимы одной страстью – с утра до вечера зарабатывать деньги. Занимаются они этим не от нужды, а от большой любви к деньгам. Отец утром развозит газеты, за деньги подвозит коллег до работы, на работе тоже старается подзаработать. Все дети по утрам готовят завтраки на продажу, старшая дочь подрабатывает в начальной школе, никто не упускает возможность подзаработать. Исключением является младший сын Таро, у него нет ни способности, ни желания к заработку. Вся семья обеспокоена, его индивидуальность несовместима с семьёй Кимура. Таро предлагают стать приёмным сыном в другом семье. Чем же закончиться эта прекрасная семейная комедия.

Действие фильма происходит в небольшой рыбацкой деревушке. Жизнь в деревне неспешно идёт своим чередом — мужчины на своих катерах выходят в море и ловят рыбу, женщины её солят и сушат. Среди мужчин особенно выделяется рыбак Сюдзи, по характеру он настоящий лидер, и все жители деревни идут к нему со своими проблемами, Сюдзи не кому не отказывает в помощи. Но у него есть своя тайна — он постоянно ходит в застёгнутой на все пуговицы одежде и никогда не снимает рубашку. Дело в том, что в прошлом Сюдзи был известным на всю Осаку якудза, а его спину украшает татуировка, на которой изображён демон Яша. Никто в деревне даже не догадывается о прошлом Сюдзи. Но впереди главных героев ждут не лёгкие перемены, в деревню приезжает молодая женщина по имени Кэйко и открывает пивную, которая тут же становится любимым местом времяпровождения для местных рыбаков, к всеобщему недовольству их жён. А следом за Кэйко из Осаки приезжает её бой-френд, якудза-наркоман Ядзима.
