With the help of his friends who send him footage from their lives in Beirut, Baghdad and Berlin, he finds the strength to keep going through the difficulty and beauty of living IN THE LAST DAYS OF THE CITY.

Mahmoud Shuaib is a very wealthy man with two sons. He has Alzheimer's disease, which is starting to affect the way he spends his wealth. His two sons are worried that they may end up with nothing to inherit if their father keep this up, and attempt to take control of his estate through the court.

Youssef, a student at the Faculty of Fine Arts, responds to the call of talent and love of drawing against his family's wishes.

The film revolves around a young man, who lives with his uncle after the death of his father. He is a reckless young man who relies on the money of his billionaire uncle, until his uncle decides to leave him to rely on himself, causing him problems in many comedy situations

Director Oussama Fawzi has been hailed as the brightest young director to have recently emerged in Egyptian cinema.

Based on one of the major literary texts survived from the Middle Kingdom, the classical period of Egyptian literature, The Eloquent Peasant is a combination of a morality/folk tale and a poem. The events are set between 2160 and 2025 BC. When the peasant Khun-anup and his donkey stumble upon the lands of the noble Rensi, the peasant’s goods are confiscated and he’s unjustly accused of theft. The peasant petitions Rensi who is so taken by the peasant’s eloquence that he report his astonishing discovery to the king. The king realises the peasant has been wronged but delays judgement so as to he can hear more of his eloquence. The peasant makes a total of nine petitions until finally, his goods are returned.

Ученые-археологи Каира узнали о том, что неизвестный торговец приобрел у кого-то в Фивах знаменитый погребальный папирус времен царствования фараона Пенуджмена Первого из двадцать первой династии (в каирском музее имеется только снимок этого документа). До сих пор раскопки в Фивах не обнаружили никаких следов гробниц фараонов этой династии, а в то же время отдельные предметы из тех захоронений систематически появляются на черном рынке. Значит, кому-то известно, и уже давно, место захоронения, и надо в следующем сезоне заняться поисками. Архелог Кемаль не хочет откладывать дело до следующего сезона и считает необходимым выехать в Фивы немедленно, тем более что расхитители активизируют свою деятельность именно тогда, когда раскопки не ведутся...
