IMPACT Wrestling time traveled back to 1984 as Pabst Blue Ribbon presents Throwback Throwdown II - a retro night with unpredictable action from the Davis Arena in Louisville, Kentucky. Bound for Glory was a professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by Impact Wrestling. It took place on October 23, 2021 at Sam's Town Live in Sunrise Manor, Nevada. This was Impact Wrestling's first event to take place outside of Nashville, Tennessee since Sacrifice in February 2020. It was the 17th event under the Bound for Glory chronology and featured wrestlers from Impact's partner promotions All Elite Wrestling (AEW), Mexico's Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), and Japan's New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW).

Emergence was a professional wrestling event produced by Impact Wrestling. It was taped on August 15 and 16, 2021 and aired exclusively on Impact Plus on August 20, 2021. It was held at Skyway Studios in Nashville, Tennessee. It was the second event in the Emergence chronology, and the first to air exclusively on Impact Plus.

Against All Odds was a professional wrestling event produced by Impact Wrestling. It took place on June 12, 2021, and air exclusively on Impact Plus. It was held at Skyway Studios in Nashville, Tennessee, except for the main event, which was held at Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida. It was the 10th event under the Against All Odds chronology and the first to be held since the 2019 event.

After the conclusion of the Hard to Kill pay-per-view event, Impact Wrestling announced that it was forming a partnership with Ohio Valley Wrestling to revive their former pay-per-view event Sacrifice as a monthly special for Impact Plus, with the event taking place on February 22, 2020 at the Davis Arena in Louisville, Kentucky.[1] Sacrifice was previously held as a pay-per-view event by the promotion then known as Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) from 2005 and 2014 and then it was discontinued in favor of the monthly pre-taped One Night Only events.[2] TNA once held Sacrifice as a special episode of Impact Wrestling in 2016.[3]
