At a nondescript government agency suspended in time, a group of lexicographers are about to settle into their usual routine: the eradication of all unnecessary, objectionable and potentially objectionable words by unanimous vote. Discussions need to be made and decisions reached, by this motley crew, in this gloomy room, for all of humanity, when in walks the new Typist with fresh questions and challenges for the entire group.

Erdem is a 35 years old journalist. He has been unemployed for the last 15 months and he’s about to become a father. He desperately needs a job. Being rejected once again in a job interview, he takes the news editor as a hostage.

Leyla, a lawyer and a poet, takes the long-distance train to attend her high school reunion dinner. On the train, she meets Canan, a young nursing student in distress. As the conversation develops, Leyla learns that Canan is travelling to assist with the suicide of a paralysed man, Yavuz, who wants to die. At the end of the long over- night trip, surrounded by the stories of people both on and off the train, Leyla decides to accompany Canan on her difficult visit.

Two sisters in their early thirties find themselves isolated in the Aegean summer cottage of their childhood, as they must deal with their uneasy sibling relationship and confront their devastating recent past past.

Фильм рассказывает о том, что кучка друзей боится предстоящего экзамена по отбору в ВУЗы страны. Этот экзамен как бы решает все, а сдать его не так просто и поэтому они решают украсть буклеты с вопросами к экзамену. Для этого привлекают второгодника, который хочет работать и работает, но который год не может окончить школу. Тут случается непредвиденное: у его матери выявлена раковая опухоль и ее предсмертное желание, чтобы ее сын поступил в университет. Ради достижения этой цели она не ложится на лечением (всем понятно какие последствия этого могут быть). Ради своей матери сын возвращается в школу и вместе со своими друзьями они прикладывают все силы, чтобы сдать школьные тесты и экзамен по отбору...
