This movie is the first of a trilogy that Sebastián D'Arbó, a specialist in parapsychology, filmed on occult topics. The second film is El ser (1982) and the last one Más allá de la muerte (1986).

1870. Agnes, of the wealthy family of Villalonga, enter as a novice in a cloistered convent. He soon falls in love with James, a soldier brother of another inmate, Sister Jacinta, and is answered by it. To be together, the young man invents an excuse, but is wounded by the Carlist.

Crime film.

Several sketches of erotic character tell the stories, among others, of a man whith a heart condition that has never been with a woman; that of a young couple quarreling about how much they love each other; that of a man whom in his deathbed makes his wife promise to remake her life with his best friend; of the arts of seduction of a waiter with an enigmatic French woman...

Two brothers, one good and the other evil, get caught up in a legend involving the King of Darkness, who comes to his disciples to feast on the blood of a virgin and grant power and prosperity to all of his followers.
