An ambitious and young man named Rama Krishna avenges his sister's death after her in-laws burn her alive due to their greed for dowry. Thereafter, he starts killing every man that harasses a woman.

Swapna is a NRI who has come to India for a visit along with her grandfather. Kameshwar rao is on a pilgrimage to Kaasi on the request of his grandmother as he had completed graduation successfully. Kamesh sees Swapna at a railway station and falls in love with her at the first sight. Swapna along with her grandfather leave for their relative's place in a hurry without giving a chance for Swapna to inform Rahul, but somehow Swapna places a note in Rahul's wallet before leaving. Her father comes in between for the engagement and stops it as the relatives had actually cheated them on business due to which Swapna's uncle succumbs to a cardiac arrest. After one year Kamesh is in hunt for his love, so he decides to go to the USA. The story unfolds in such a way that he goes to the US and is working under Deepak, who is Swapna's cousin. The climax anyway sees Kamesh meeting his love and winning it. And so the film ends with a happy note.

The story is centered in a village where the parents of first cousins Sujatha (Sadha) and Raghu (Gopichand) decide that both will be married when they become adults. As a child, Sujatha's uncle gives her anklets, which she wears as she grows up. As they grow older, Raghu is caught smuggling money from his house. At school, Raghu beats up a kid for talking to Sujatha. They quarrel, and soon Raghu's family leaves for another village. Sujatha grows to be an attractive college girl, while the villain Raghu becomes a good-for-nothing character. On her way to college, Sujatha meets up with Venkat (Nitin), a poor but handsome, charming enthusiastic boy, and soon after their quarrels they fall in love.

Chandu finally meets the woman, Pooja, who calls him on the phone without revealing her identity and sparks fly. But the woman's father disapproves so they decide to run away and get married. On the day they are supposed to elope Pooja is nowhere to be found...

Durga is in love with Anith; he is all set to marry her and settle down in life. But things change when his brother Mohanakrishna is killed by a rival gang supported by Gurunarayana, the local MLA. Durga wants to settle the scores with the rival gand and in turn becomes a gangster. But Anitha does not approve of his ways and leaves him to marry a cop. Their paths cross again when the cop is posted to the same city where Durga is a leading gangster.

A girl comes to her grandmother's home to study when she notices a bright and handsome student. Thereafter, their respective grandparents try to bring them two together.

Raghav, an orphan, is a contract killer. When he falls for Bhavna, he hides the fact as he fears rejection; coincidentally, Bhavna's brother, a police officer, is investigating a murder committed by Raghav.

The Sharma family re-locate to a semi-urban locality in a house that has a "reputation". The Sharma family consists of Mr. Sharma, his wife Shalini Sharma, only daughter Manisha Sharma or "Mini" as they affectionately call her; and their grandchild Bunty, as his parents had been killed in an accident. Strange things start happening, with a return of a dead kitten, and the brutal murder of Manisha's friend, Reshmi; an attempt to kill Mr. Sharma and Manisha's boyfriend, Deepak. What is the force behind these brutalities? Is it natural or supernatural?

Shiva is disgusted by the corruption in and around his new college, and along with his friends, he decides to take a stand against the status quo, in director Ram Gopal Varma's remake of his blockbuster 1989 Telugu movie of the same name.

Siva is a new student in the community college. He is welcomed by a group of collegians, including the lovely Asha, to whom Shiva is instantly attracted. Shiva notices that there is violence within the college, perpetrated by people who are not even students. When he decides to find out their motives, he is met with violence, and threats. Now Shiva must decide to stand up for his college, or just carry on studying, finish college, and move on and get to on job.
