Humberto works as a night watchman at a remote and desolate construction site. One night he becomes, unwittingly, the sole witness to a cover up. Afraid of being retaliated against lest he come forth, he decides to keep quiet. Gradually and without him being aware of it, Humberto ends up inflicting on his family the same violence from which he´s running away.

Helena, a woman in her early 40's, is obsessed with getting pregnant. After failing her last try, her neighbors get back from the hospital with their new born baby. Helena breaks in to their house when they´re gone, steals the baby monitor and starts listening to what happens next door.

The sudden appearance of a mysterious man immerses her in a new world - that of pornography- where she tries to look for fame to realize her dream of becoming an actress. The disappointment that the experience brings triggers a cathartic process in her, and within her family.
