Despite the difference in their upbringings and family lives, five young children become friends. Omar is in love with Yacine, a pretty, intelligent girl from a wealthy family. He decides to pen her a love letter, which ends up causing misunderstanding and a rift between him and his childhood love. Meanwhile, Demba falls in love with a beggar and they share 'secret' stares and tender touches in brief meetings each time. All the children seek advice from their mentor, who sells bicycle-rides at the beach-front. The innocence of childhood infatuation is cleverly layered over a troubled Senegal laboring under the strains of strike action and economic upheaval.

Two Quebec acrobats embark on an unusual journey through France. Childhood friends, André Fontaine and Michel Leroy find themselves in the Alps. André had been walking around France for three years with a baby bather who spit fire and gave him a line in the street. As for Michel, he was moping around in a Montreal bar. Without admitting it, they needed each other. The duo quickly reunited and traveled to Paris in a Citroën Acadiane, equipped like a house, where fame awaited them. Michel discovers the "Old Country" and his thirst for recognition is coupled with a quest for identity, that of his Breton origins.

Show recorded at the Cirque d'Hiver in 1997. This show marked both the consecration and the farewell of Elie Kakou to his public. This show, the artist's most accomplished, mixes great spectacle and humor through an incredible sound and visual delirium: in the company of dancers, trapeze artists, stilt walkers and whimsical characters, all on choreographies signed Rhéda; it is one of the most beautiful tributes to the world of the circus.

Anne is a figure painter who has been in a melancholy slump for a number of years. She is awakened from this dulled state by news that she only has a year to live. Thus, when she sees an interesting man with a lively appearance during a visit to the library, she decides to try and track him down, perhaps to arrange for a sitting. It turns out that the man is a serial killer, but, given her short life-span, this knowledge does not prevent Anne from developing a relationship with him, though she is understandably skittish around him.

Years ago, Jean Marsan had aspirations to be a scholar. He also had a very serious romance going on. His thick-headed, uncomprehending family soon put an end to both of those unacceptable behaviors, and he spent the rest of his youth tending cows on the family farm. Now he is old, his idiot family members have died, and he's about to sell the farm (now his) to a developer. However, there are still cows to take care of until the sale goes through, and he's not as agile as he used to be. When a young local fellow offers to help him with his farm chores, he grudgingly accepts and their initially antagonistic relationship deepens over the summer. The director of this film grew up in the French Alps on a farm similar to this one and has taken care that the details of farm management are accurately and precisely depicted. Of particular interest to cheese connoisseurs is the footage of the two men making a delicious but probably unhygienic local cheese.

A shock she never recovered, which leads regularly to depression, even violent crises requiring treatment that administers her husband through bites. In order to change his ideas, Jean-Pierre takes his wife to winter sports, in Haute-Savoie where he rented a chalet (between Megève and Chamonix). He meets his mistress Françoise (Catherine Ringer), accompanied by her Patrick, his friend, who is aware of the liaison of his girlfriend with Jean-Pierre. In fact, the latter, with the help of Françoise, plans to sink Manuella into irreversible madness, in order to seize his property.
