Teenage cousins Masao and Tamiko fall in love when she comes to his riverside brewery house to take care of his sickly mother. Family objections ensue as Tamiko is older than Masao, and the two cannot marry in peace.

Meet Taiga Makoto, a young man with a scar between his eyes who has had a rough life, but has emerged as a rough, tough bully - a thug and a brawler and about as rude as they come - all of which he blames on the incident that gave him his scar. When Ai and Makoto run into each other again, Ai feels guilt for what Makoto has become and decides to intervene and rehabilitate him. But is he a diamond in the rough, or just a bully?

Мами и Тиаки живут в женском общежитии и готовятся к вступительным экзаменам в университет. В свободное время девушки с подругами совершают мелкие кражи в магазинах и однажды попадаются охранникам. Мами и Тиаки удается сбежать, а остальных арестовывает полиция. В общежитие теперь не вернешься и девушки бродят по городу, не зная, что им делать.
