Director
A retired forest officer's sons Abhijith, Abhilash aka Appu along with their mother Padma live happily. One day, they find that their family friend poet Sidharthan has bequeathed his properties to Abhijith aka Allu, the younger boy in the family, in his osyath (will). Suspicion raises in the mind of Appu, who thinks that Allu is the son of the late poet. His doubts create problems in the family and he has to leave the house for certain reasons.
Vikru, Ashokan's hometown buddy
Ashokan goes on a trip to Nepal to meet his uncle who is settled there. To his surprise, his rival from his village Appukuttan is already there impersonating him. He is unable to convince his uncle about the truth and gets kicked out of the house. While trying to find shelter he meets a young Nepalese boy. Though they don't understand each others' language, they quickly form a bond. Meanwhile Ashokan is able to convince his cousin Aswathy that Appukuttan is an impostor. Aswathy who is a student researching ancient Nepalese traditions realizes that the young Nepalese boy is actually a Rimpoche, the spiritual leader of his tribe and is on the run from evil forces who want to banish him. Ashokan gets sucked in to the scenario unknowingly and ends up being the Rimpoche's protector.
Village Kid
Peethambaran (Sreenivasan) is an unemployed man who is addicted to solving other people's problems. He gives more priority to the people in his village than his family. His well intended actions though leads him to troubling situations.
James (Sreenivasan) is an average police officer, apathetic towards his job and only in it for his monthly salary. Due to a misunderstanding during a blood test at a laboratory, he believes that he has a fatal disease and is about to die soon. He eyes the insurance payout his family would get if he dies in action and embarks on impossible missions to get himself killed in action.
Kid
Babu (Sreenivasan) is a small time magician known by his stage name Prof. Rangoonwalla. He makes ends meet by doing odd shows. He reluctantly lets Raju (Jayaram), a pickpocket, to join him as his assistant. While performing a trick called The Vanishing Beauty with the help of his neighbour Sridevi (Geetha Vijayan), a woman (Sobhana) unknowingly stumbles in on stage. The show is spoilt and they end up running away to avoid brickbats. They confront the woman and gets pulled into her mysteries.
