Structured as a film within a film, Rhoma Irama and his girlfriend, Aida, are hired to make a film by Leo and his right hand, Richard. While Rhoma has several shows in the same city, Leo pursues his criminal activities. For him, moviemaking is a camoulflage for his crimes. Richard, who is still in love with Aida, tries to separate Rhoma from the girl. While filming a scene, Rhoma is stabbed for real. While Rhoma is in hospital, Imron, a Rhoma impersonator is introduced. Then a scenario is written for Richard to get Aida. Later, Rhoma impersonates Imron and pulls Imron’s girlfriend Nina out from prostitution. Finally, Rhoma is able to solve the whole drama and Aida is back in his arms. Rhoma’s songs, which are his trademark and selling point, continue to be used.
An honest woman falls for a model agency scam, and is then brutally murdered by mindless thugs. She rises from the crypt as a Sundel Bolong (a mythological Indonesian revenge ghost) to exact vengeance in very gruesome and interesting ways. Can anyone stop her? …or at least give this poor soul some peace? Starring film icon, Suzzanna, this pic explodes off the screen like a rocket-powered comic book. Three poor students help Mr. Broto who is a victim of a hit and run accident. Apparently, Mr. Broto has a treasure map and this treasure quest makes the trio enter the forest, climb hills and cross rivers. Then Dono gets a girlfriend named Maya, the daughter of the person who hit Mr. Broto. There are many slapstick comedy moments such as the crashing the doors, or slipping on banana peels, to lighten the mood of the treasure quest.
Panji Tengkorak tells the story of Panji, a master in the dark arts of silat (Indonesian martial art), who is searching for the person who had killed his wife. In his journey, Panji always disguises himself as a beggar and wears a skull mask. Even though he looked cruel, Panji is a good and loyal man.
A married man has two daughters with his mistress and then abandons her. Years later, the mother is killed in a train accident while the now-grown daughters become involved with prostitution, pimps, rape and incest.
