Ahmet, who had recently lost his wife and little daughter in a traffic accident while he was away with his lover, is a prominent person dealing with "head work". As someone who does not care for anybody and does not knuckle under anything, he moves on quite unaffected. Yet some things start to change in himself and his life without any apparent reason.

Ismail's son, Tarik returns to his village after long years of being away and announces that he is engaged to a Latvian woman named Nugesha and although he doesn't have the means for it, Ismail still wants to be the one who pays for the expenses of the wedding. Several problems ensue as he tries to make sure that there is enough money for the wedding.

Agapi, an old Greek woman, returns to Turkey with her granddaughter, Elpida, in hopes of buying back her childhood home, but the new owner, a young Turkish man, is adamantly against selling it. The three strangers begin to share the house trying to come to an agreement, but a friendship between Elpida and the new owner complicates matters.

Elif is a pretty young woman who grew up in a wealthy family. Everything in her life works according to plan – until she starts hearing voices, followed by strange nightmares and asthma attacks. She becomes convinced that she has fallen under some evil spell. In order to conquer the demon behind it all, she has to dig deep into her past and uncover her true origin. While doing this, she is confronted by the horrific circumstances of her birth.
