At the Jakarta Fair, there is a rumour that a major tycoon from Makassar will come looking for new machines and a business partner. There is a flurry of excitement as everyone tries to get the tycoon’s employees to drop by their stands. Mansur, one of business owners in the fair, asks his secretary, Sinta, to find Andi Rachmat Syah, the tycoon. Sinta then approaches Andi, a handsome man employed by the tycoon, to find out about his boss. The man promises to tell Sinta on one condition, that she has to take him around the fair. Samiaji, Mansur’s business competitor, who has a crush on Sinta, is jealous when he finds out about it. Till the end of the story, nobody knows that Andi takes Sinta home after nights of going around the Jakarta Fair.

Then Herman is posted to the mainland as punishment. Here, he reunites with an old friend, Rusli, who offers him a bribe. Herman is now a suspect as several of smuggling ships are able to escape. But it is Herman’s strategy to gain Rusli’s trust so that he can eradicate smuggling at its root. He is reposted back to sea.

They get along well as Arman is also suffering from the loss of his mother and sister, who died during the revolution. The seeds of love begin to grow, but it happens that Tuti likes him too. Then Arman resolves problem by reuniting Tuti with her ex-boyfriend, Anwar. In the end, Hamzah and his wife realise their mistakes, while Lina and Arman find their “private palace.”

The film featured the Imam Band that was popular at that time. The members were Eka Djaja Combo, Dolok Martimbang, Teruna Ria, Kinantan, Irama Agung and Idris Sardi and his orchestra.
